Jennifer Shea,
Senior Research Program Coordinator

Jennifer Shea is the senior research program coordinator for the SCORE lab. Jennifer has over 10 years of experience as an investigator and research coordinator in the Neurology and Cognitive Science Departments at Johns Hopkins. Her work in the SCORE lab examines affective prosody as well as other behavioral and neuroimaging variables that may serve as early indicators of different subtypes of Alzheimer’s and frontotemporal dementias, or which may inform neuromodulatory treatment targets for remediation of language deficits.

Other ongoing collaborations include a project investigating transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) as an adjuvant to short-term memory therapy for individuals with primary progressive aphasia or typical AD, as well as a project examining factors that predict written language recovery in the chronic stage of stroke.
