Zafer Keser, M.D.

Zafer is a post-doctoral clinical vascular neurology fellow. He recently completed a neurology residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, TX, where he had previously been a research associate and post-doctoral fellow in the Neuromodulation and Neural Interfaces Lab in the Neurorecovery Research Center (Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation). Zafer completed his medical edication at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculties.

Research

His research focus is using advanced diffusion-based imaging methods to investigate the natural evolution of stroke-induced changes in the brain parenchyma and to study recovery patterns after stroke.
